Bone Selection offers Head, Chest or Closest. Visible Check restricts assist to targets the option treats as visible. Ignore Friendly Faction and Ignore Same Party / Alliance stop the helper from treating allies as valid.

When Closest is the safer label

Closest follows whichever listed bone is nearest to the current aim point. Chest is a larger target on most classes. Head is the smallest. None of these create a new damage type; they only steer assist.

Faction and party

Elyos and Asmodians are playable sides. Balaur are hostile NPCs. Friendly-faction ignore is for your own side in PvP. Party/alliance ignore is for group content. Read the faction guide if you need the game context first.
